Post-Abortion Care
The CPC offers After Abortion care to women who have recently experienced abortion and are in need of medical or emotional support. Our free, confidential after-care includes:
1. No-Cost Medical Examination
If your abortion was recent, it is important to have a medical exam with a physician or nurse practitioner. Our staff can assess for abnormal bleeding, abdominal pain, or uterus (fundal) positioning.
We will refer you for additional medical care if necessary.
2. No-Cost Post-Abortion Support Mentor
Healing from a previous abortion experience is possible. We provide Support Mentors who offer the personal support you need.
3. Other Referrals and Resources
If necessary, we can refer you to our area’s mental health counselors and clinicians. In addition, we can connect you to community resources to meet your additional needs.
